Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 has released a new downloadable content pack featuring the Airbus A380, a "superjumbo" jet. This DLC is available exclusively through the Flight Simulator Marketplace and is priced at $74.49. The content will only be offered for the next three months.
The Airbus A380 add-on for the multiplatform simulation on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 includes detailed exterior and interior modeling. It features a fully interactive flight deck with extensive controls and displays, a layered avionics system covering navigation, autopilot, and flight management, and unique engine variants with distinct performance characteristics. A "bespoke A380 flight model" has been developed to accurately represent the aircraft's mass, inertia, and handling. The add-on also includes functional elements such as a cockpit printer.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 received a 9 out of 10 review score upon its release and has since seen numerous content updates and a VR platform launch. The original Microsoft Flight Simulator, released in 2020, was awarded a perfect 10 out of 10.
