Mike Tomlin, who served as head coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers for 18 seasons, has unveiled a sprawling Minecraft city he has been meticulously building for the past 12 years. Tomlin, known for his remarkably consistent NFL career without a losing season, has transitioned to sharing his extensive creative endeavor on his YouTube channel.
The project began as a shared activity with his children, but as they grew, Tomlin continued to develop the city as a personal focus. This dedication is evident in the detailed urban landscape he has constructed, featuring skyscrapers, neighborhoods, and various sports arenas, including a baseball field, a soccer pitch, and a football stadium. His son Mayce Tomlin shared on Twitter that his father would occasionally take his PlayStation, suggesting spontaneous creative bursts led to development.
With his resignation as the Steelers' head coach following the 2025 season, Tomlin now has more time to dedicate to his Minecraft world. The team has appointed Mike McCarthy, a Pittsburgh native, as their new head coach.
