Monarchs at Play Offers Hour-Long 4X Strategy Sessions

For players struggling to find time for lengthy strategy games, Monarchs at Play presents itself as a solution. This turn-based city-builder, developed by MixedMoonGames, is designed to deliver a 4X strategy experience within a single hour.

The core gameplay involves chaining hexagonal tiles to create combos and expand an empire. Players select from various monarchs, each with unique abilities and buildings. Resource management is key, as players use gathered resources to place new structures. The objective is to outcompete rivals, which can be either AI opponents or other players, by destroying their buildings and continuing the expansion of one's own territory.

Monarchs at Play is also available to try through a demo on Steam. A release date has not yet been announced, so interested players should monitor the game's Steam page for further updates.
