Mondo is expanding its line of 1:12 scale figures based on The Real Ghostbusters cartoon with a new exclusive set featuring Louis Tully and the ghost Grundel. This release continues Mondo's effort to fill a niche for collectibles specifically tied to the animated series.
The Louis Tully & Grundel set includes a variety of accessories for both characters. Louis comes equipped with a proton pack, Ghost Trap, PKE Tracker, and Ecto Goggles, as well as an alternate head sculpt. Grundel is accompanied by accessory figures of Grundel Alec and a Slimer figure wearing a proton pack. Grundel himself features interchangeable heads and hands.
This timed edition set is priced at $202 and is available exclusively through Mondo's website. While Mondo has previously released individual Louis Tully figures as non-timed editions, this set marks the sole opportunity to acquire the Grundel ghost figure. Past Real Ghostbusters releases from Mondo, including Winston Zeddemore and Sandman, have quickly sold out, indicating strong demand for the collectible line.
