Monster Hunter Wilds is retiring its divisive Edit Vouchers, publisher Capcom announced. Starting December 3, the vouchers will be removed from all digital storefronts. Players will instead receive 10 free Character Edit Vouchers and 10 free Palico Edit Vouchers. This move precedes the release of the Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance expansion next year, which will allow players to re-edit their hunter and Palico appearances as many times as they wish, free of charge and without requiring any vouchers.
Even players who do not purchase the Ascendance expansion will be able to edit their characters an unlimited number of times without needing a voucher. For those who previously spent real money on Edit Vouchers, Capcom will not issue refunds but will provide a Special Thank-You Pendant Set. This set includes the Heavenly Hog and Beelzeboar pendants and will be claimable starting December 3.
