Capcom is set to implement a permanent price reduction for Monster Hunter Wilds, alongside the introduction of new downloadable content bundles, commencing August 4. On the same date, several existing digital editions and DLC packs will be removed from sale.

The Monster Hunter Wilds Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition, and Cosmetic DLC Pass will no longer be available for purchase. In their place, Capcom will offer the Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition, which includes the base game and the Cosmetic DLC Collection. Additionally, the Monster Hunter Wilds Cosmetic DLC Collection will bundle together all previous cosmetic DLC packs, including the Festival of Accord packs, the Deluxe Pack, and the Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack. A separate Monster Hunter Wilds Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack will also be available, containing select paid cosmetic items previously offered individually.

While specific details regarding the extent of the permanent price reduction have not yet been disclosed, the announcement has been met with positive reactions from the game's player base on social media. This pricing adjustment follows recent news that Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 in June 2025, a platform that many players had hoped for given the game's absence on the original Nintendo Switch.

These changes signal a new phase for Monster Hunter Wilds, offering players more options for acquiring the game and its cosmetic content at potentially more accessible price points.
