Mortal Shell 2's Rotten Autumn Update Adds 15 New Dungeons and Photo Mode

Mortal Shell 2 has received its latest seasonal update, dubbed "Rotten Autumn," which is now available to players. This update introduces a significant amount of new content, including 15 new dungeons to explore. Additionally, players can now utilize a new photo mode to capture their in-game experiences, and an alternative soundtrack composed by Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ is included.

The update also brings 10 new tarstones, a unique sheep tarstone, and an Impervious Lute skin with additional lute tracks. The game's Nightmode has been enhanced with new lighting presets, and players will find more robust graphics settings. The developers have also implemented various polishing touches and bug fixes.

This is the second major update for Mortal Shell 2 since its August launch. The previous update introduced an experimental mode with enemy scaling that adjusted based on player performance. The game has been met with positive reception, with critics praising its dungeons and overall design, comparing them favorably to early PC gaming era map design.
