John B. Allen, widely known as MrBallen, is expanding his brand of strange, dark, and mysterious storytelling into a third graphic novel collection titled MrBallen Presents: The Terror Within. The new book, set to release in October, will feature nine stories, four of which are original print contributions.
Co-written by Allen and Robert Venditti, with artwork by Andrea Mutti, The Terror Within promises a collection of gripping stories based on real events. The official summary highlights explorations of inner capabilities and fears, delving into "primeval atrocities in the Russian wilderness to shockingly personal hauntings in Taiwan to chilling encounters in the depths of cyberspace."
This latest volume follows previous collections, MrBallen Presents: Strange, Dark & Mysterious and MrBallen Presents: Where Nightmares Live, which also adapted Allen's popular podcast and YouTube content into comic book form.
