MrBeast's Original Logo Sketch Heads to Auction, Estimated at $20,000+

The original pencil sketch that defined the MrBeast brand is now up for auction, with experts projecting its value to exceed $20,000. This iconic logo, a staple across MrBeast's merchandise, chocolate bars, and his immensely popular YouTube channel, is being offered by Heritage Auctions as part of their Fall Sports Catalog Auction from October 23-25.

The 8.5-by-11-inch drawing, created approximately in 2018, depicts the recognizable big cat that has become synonymous with Jimmy Donaldson's online persona. Notably, this early concept lacks the pink lightning bolt over its eye and appears to be a spotted cat, leading to some ambiguity about whether it was originally intended as a tiger, leopard, or panther. Donaldson himself has admitted to Wired that the logo's design was conceived with minimal deliberation, stemming from childhood doodles.

According to Heritage Auctions, the sketch originated from a 10-minute brainstorming session. Donaldson has shared that even he is unsure of the exact species of cat his logo represents. "I guess it's kind of like a tiger," he told Wired, though the auction piece suggests a leopard or panther was the initial inspiration.

MrBeast, who boasts over 520 million subscribers and is the most subscribed individual creator on YouTube, has expanded his media empire beyond viral videos. He now hosts the Amazon Prime Video series Beast Games, which has been renewed for a third season, and co-authored a book, The Most Dangerous Games, with James Patterson. The sketch's potential value is attributed to Donaldson's significant net worth and his prominent status as a content creator.
