The game centers on a bounty hunter named Jordan who becomes stranded on an alien planet while pursuing a criminal syndicate, leading to the discovery of the planet's secrets. This marks Naughty Dog's first new game in nearly an entire console generation, adding to the considerable anticipation from players.
This news follows recent buzz generated by actor Troy Baker, who voices a character in Intergalactic and has described the game as an experience players are "not ready for," suggesting it will "blow your mind" and push creative boundaries. Baker's comments were shared in a video that began circulating recently.
Druckmann acknowledged the long silence from the studio, assuring fans that their patience is valued and that the team is working hard to deliver a game worthy of it.
