Netflix is expanding the world of its animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters' with an in-person interactive event called 'KPop Demon Hunters: The Immersive Experience.' This new offering will be available at select Netflix House locations, inviting fans to step into the universe of the Huntr/x musical group.
The experience begins backstage before the fictional world tour of Huntr/x. According to Netflix, the film's antagonist, Gwi-Ma, will attack the venue, prompting guests to join Huntr/x in battling demons. This will involve interactive sets, screens, and 3D technology, all set to the film's soundtrack which includes songs like "Golden" and "How It's Done." Live actors and custom animation will also be featured throughout the adventure, which includes play-based challenges. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet the character Derpy Tiger.
Marian Lee, Netflix's chief marketing officer, stated that the event is designed to allow fans to "live in the world of HUNTR/x." She emphasized that every detail aims to immerse fans in the 'KPop Demon Hunters' universe, enabling them to "feel, hear, and see this world exactly the way they imagined it."
