Netflix has released a new short video featuring the complete choreography for "How It's Done" from the 2025 animated musical adventure KPop Demon Hunters. This release offers fans a deeper look at the film's musical numbers ahead of the anticipated sequel.
The new clip showcases Rumi, Mira, and Zoey practicing the dance routine. While the film itself largely features the song during an action sequence and only offers a glimpse of the full concert performance, this extended animation reveals the trio's official dance moves for the track. The choreography is presented in a studio setting where Rumi displays her demonic patterns, suggesting the video may be set after the events of the original movie.
This choreography video is the first of several planned releases. Netflix intends to unveil official dance breakdowns for other songs, including "Golden," "Takedown," "Soda Pop," and "Your Idol." These segments will feature the film's original choreographers, Nain, Leejung Lee, and K-Tigers, who will demonstrate the signature poses and formations. These special episodes are expected to debut soon on Netflix's social channels and its Tudum blog.
Since its release in June 2025, KPop Demon Hunters has been heavily leveraged by Netflix. The platform previously offered a sing-along version of the film, released lyric videos and bonus features, and even produced a themed fireplace video. Merchandise, including American Girl dolls and Lego sets, has also been made available.
Netflix officially confirmed a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters in March, establishing a long-term creative partnership with the film's directors, Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans. Rumors of a follow-up had circulated for months before the deal was finalized. KPop Demon Hunters currently holds the record as the most-watched Netflix movie of all time. The original film garnered significant attention, including two Oscar nominations, a Grammy win, and a chart-topping soundtrack. The sequel does not yet have a release date but is not expected before 2029.
