The latest batch of leaks, shared by Pokémon influencer Centro Leaks, includes early gameplay elements, regional maps, and character models. These leaks suggest that the games might incorporate significant new mechanics and a vast world to explore.
Among the leaked assets is a character model for the apparent Elite Four champion, who features multiple designs depicting different stages of life. This has led to speculation among fans that Winds and Waves could involve time travel or a significant time skip within its narrative.
Further leaks showcase what is believed to be the full in-game map for Winds and Waves. The map indicates a large game world comprised of numerous islands and subregions. Reports suggest that the previously released three-minute trailer only showcased content from a single landmass containing 11 distinct locations. The leaked map also allegedly pinpoints the starting area for players' starter Pokémon and the location of the first obtainable Gym Badge, a grass-type challenge. A character model for the fighting-type Gym leader has also been reportedly leaked.
