A notable Nintendo leaker, identified as Malo932, has purportedly revealed information regarding future Nintendo projects. According to the leaker, plans are underway for an all-new Super Smash Bros. title, distinct from any expanded version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This news follows the immense success of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, which remains the best-selling game in its genre and a key title for the Nintendo Switch.
Malo932 also teased the return of another "cozy weird Nintendo series," strongly hinting at Nintendogs. The last installment in the Nintendogs franchise was Nintendogs and Cats for the Nintendo 3DS, released in 2011. The original Nintendogs achieved significant commercial success, selling over 20 million copies.
The leaker's claims were shared via a now-deleted YouTube comment, which was subsequently circulated by fans. Malo932 has previously shared accurate information about Nintendo's upcoming releases, including details about Nintendo Direct presentations and the timing of titles like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, a new Star Fox game, and a Switch Sports title, all of which were later officially revealed.
Beyond these two major franchises, Malo932 also suggested that Mario Kart World's downloadable content will feature Fox McCloud and is slated for release next year. Further in the future, a 2D Metroid game, a new Wario Land title, a Star Fox adventure, and the next 3D Mario game are reportedly planned for launch in 2027.
