New The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Trailer Features Dark Link

Nintendo's upcoming remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has received two new trailers, offering fans a look at content arriving in the title in the coming weeks. One of the trailers provides a brief appearance of Dark Link, a recurring antagonist in the series known for confronting the hero Link.

This iteration of Dark Link is visible approximately 15 seconds into the trailer, where he appears to attack Link. The trailer also showcases Ganon playing the piano, Link on a pirate ship, and various enemies encountered in dungeons. A separate trailer, posted on Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel, highlights the ocarina, the Master Sword, and the exploration of Hyrule.

The Ocarina of Time remake is expected to appeal to both longtime fans of the original 1998 game and newer players familiar with titles influenced by it. Early impressions suggest Nintendo has successfully balanced the original's appeal with modern sensibilities.

Michael McWhertor of Polygon noted in a preview that the remake is "incredibly impressive graphically and the game now plays better than ever." He added that the game felt "snappy, streamlined, and polished in ways that make it feel totally fresh" after a 30-minute hands-on session. The remake is scheduled for release on November 5 for Nintendo Switch 2.
