Liquid Static Studio has revealed Night Plane, a horror game that blends the mundane tasks of a flight attendant with supernatural terror. The game, showcased in a trailer during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, is designed to be particularly frightening for those with a fear of flying. Players will take on the role of a flight attendant tasked with serving passengers and dealing with unexpected, demonic intruders.
The trailer offers glimpses of unsettling events, including a deer-like demon menacing a flight attendant in an airport and a bloody handprint appearing on an emergency door. The visuals also hint at environments beyond the plane, with scenes set in caves and forests suggesting the aircraft will eventually crash land.
Within the game, players will need to manage typical job simulator duties such as checking tickets and attending to passenger needs. However, these tasks are complicated by the presence of shape-shifting demons. The gameplay loop appears to involve managing these dual responsibilities, ejecting supernatural threats while attempting to maintain order and safety aboard the flight.
Night Plane is scheduled for release on October 26, 2026. A demo is currently available for download on Steam, where the game can also be wishlisted.
