Nightdive Studios has officially confirmed the existence of "The Tarnished Mirror," a new campaign for the upcoming Thief: The Dark Project Remastered. This confirmation follows a leak of the campaign's name through a Steam achievements breach.

The studio acknowledged the leak in a new teaser video, which playfully addresses how the information became public. The video concludes with artwork of the series' protagonist, Garrett, and the logo for "The Tarnished Mirror." A full reveal of the new content is scheduled for November 2nd.

"Huh...not so secret anymore, is it?" Garrett remarks in the teaser, referencing the leaked information. While Nightdive has confirmed the campaign's name and its impending reveal, details regarding its content remain undisclosed.

Nightdive Studios first announced Thief: The Dark Project Remastered in June, detailing plans for visual enhancements, quality-of-life improvements such as a weapon wheel and mission selector, and support for 4K resolution at 120 frames per second. The game aims to bring the classic stealth experience to modern hardware with these upgrades.
