Noah Jupe, known for his role in "A Quiet Place," has reportedly been cast in an unspecified, but "key," role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, "Avengers: Secret Wars." Filming is currently underway in England for the 2027 ensemble movie.
While Marvel has not officially commented on Jupe's casting or character, fans are actively speculating about his identity. One prominent theory suggests Jupe will portray an aged-up version of Franklin Richards, the reality-warping son of Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman. Franklin Richards was first introduced as an infant in "Fantastic Four: First Steps," where his immense potential was hinted at when he revived his mother. The post-credits scene of that film also showed Doctor Doom taking an early interest in the young Franklin.
Given "Secret Wars" is expected to deal with the reconstruction of the multiverse, Doctor Doom's attention to a character with Franklin's powers would align with the narrative. Jupe's age also makes him a believable candidate to play the son of Pedro Pascal, who is set to portray Mister Fantastic.
Another theory posits that Jupe could be playing the Beyonder, an omnipotent entity central to the "Secret Wars" comic storyline, capable of rewriting reality. This character serves as an antagonist who manipulates events in the comics. While speculation continues, a clearer picture of Jupe's role may emerge closer to the release of "Avengers: Doomsday" on December 18.
