Fortnite continues its tradition of featuring popular music artists with the addition of Olivia Rodrigo to the game. The Grammy award-winning singer and actress, known for hits like “Drivers License,” “Good 4 U,” and “Vampire,” will be available as a playable skin starting today at 8 p.m. ET.
Rodrigo’s arrival is part of Fortnite’s Icon Series, which has previously included artists such as Travis Scott and Metallica. The cosmetic bundle offers players two outfit skins, SOUR and Lover Girl, along with a set of themed items. These include the “Good 4 U” and “Maggots for Brains” emotes, three new Jam Tracks titled "Drop Dead," "Maggots for Brains," and "Deja Vu," Olivia's Butterfly Wings Back Bling, and the Flammable Sticker Collection Back Bling.
These new cosmetic items will be available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop until July 25. In addition to the purchasable cosmetics, Rodrigo will also appear as an NPC within Fortnite's battle royale mode. Her integration into the game coincides with Chapter 7 Season 3, which recently saw the addition of the character Rambo.
