Fortnite's next mini-season, themed around pirates and treasure hunting, will feature a highly anticipated collaboration with the anime series One Piece. The update, titled "Treasure Hunters," is set to launch on November 1st, following the conclusion of Chapter 7 Season 4.
Epic Games teased the collaboration extensively in the days leading up to the official announcement. While initial teasers hinted at a pirate theme and treasure hunting, rumors strongly suggested a One Piece crossover due to the popularity of the anime and its thematic alignment with the upcoming season. The "Treasure Hunters" mini-season is expected to last approximately one month before a new chapter of Fortnite begins.
The confirmation came via a short teaser revealing the Straw Hat Pirates' first ship, the Going Merry, emerging from fog. This specific depiction indicates the collaboration is with the original anime rather than the live-action Netflix series, as noted by slight differences in the ship's figurehead. Previous teasers also featured anime-style characters, further supporting this direction.
Players have until November 1st to complete the current Battle Pass and prepare for the "Treasure Hunters" season. The reveal also showcased several pirate crew logos, including those associated with characters like Peely, A$AP Rocky, Hatsune Miku, Kasane Teto, and Lil Uzi Vert, hinting at further content within the mini-season.
