Over 30 New Screenshots Available From Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer

Rockstar Games has released over 30 new screenshots derived from the Grand Theft Auto VI launch trailer, providing a closer examination of the game's open world.

The recently dropped trailer, which appears to be the final full preview before release, showcases significant story elements, including romantic and action-packed moments between protagonists Jason and Lucia. One notable scene depicts a character dangling from a payload in flight over Vice City.

Among the visual highlights are details such as Jason accompanied by a dog during a helicopter sequence. The trailer footage was captured in-game on a PlayStation 5, indicating the visual fidelity players can expect on the base console model. Gameplay on Xbox Series X and S has yet to be shown.

Rockstar's official description for the trailer states:

"Vice City, USA.

Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive."

Players can begin pre-loading Grand Theft Auto VI on November 12, approximately one month before its release. The game is scheduled to launch on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC release is reportedly planned for early 2027.

Rockstar's marketing campaign for Grand Theft Auto VI has included extensive activations in Miami, such as murals, blimps, and signage. The company is also preparing to redecorate Miami Beach with themed items, and the Miami Heat NBA team will host a GTA 6-themed game on November 18 featuring Vice City-inspired court designs and jerseys.

Further details have emerged regarding the game's development, including a report on what may be the end of a GTA 6 leaker's activity, insights into the game's intricate sweat system, and confirmation that Grand Theft Auto VI will be eligible for The Game Awards 2026, potentially positioning it for a Game of the Year nomination.
