Developer Pocketpair has announced Palworld Online, a massively multiplayer online spin-off of its 2024 hit creature-collecting game. The new title is slated for an exclusive release on iOS and Android in 2026.

Palworld Online aims to replicate the core experience of the original game for mobile platforms, focusing on multiplayer interactions. According to the official announcement, the game will feature online multiplayer where players can meet, cooperate, and compete within the same persistent world. This includes joint base building, cooperative PvE content, and PvP battles. The game will also incorporate its own unique story setting and an original storyline, with adventures taking place in a vast, seamlessly connected open world alongside the mysterious creatures known as Pals.

Players will be able to explore the open world, capture and raise Pals, and uncover hidden treasures and story elements. New side stories created specifically for Palworld Online will also be included to deepen the player's immersion in its world. The game will offer opportunities to form parties with other players encountered in the field, build shared bases, and tackle challenging PvE content or engage in PvP. Players can also visit each other's bases and collaborate on hunting rare Pals or facing powerful world bosses.

The game's user interface and controls are being optimized for smartphone play, with intuitive touch controls and one-tap options. The developers are also working to ensure the game runs smoothly on a wide range of devices without compromising the depth and freedom characteristic of the Palworld experience. Further details regarding the specific release date and future developments are expected to be announced at a later time.
