A new MMORPG spin-off of the popular creature-collecting survival game Palworld, titled Palworld Online, is slated for a mobile release on iOS and Android later this year. The game is being developed and published by Garena in collaboration with Pocketpair.

Palworld Online will reimagine the core Palworld experience with a focus on a shared, seamless open world where players can collect and train their Pals together. The game introduces a new narrative setting, offering additional story elements for those invested in the Palworld universe. While designed specifically for mobile, no PC or console versions have been announced at this time.

The mobile MMORPG will feature cooperative progression systems, challenging PvE encounters, player-versus-player battles, and roaming world bosses. Garena stated that the timeline for its launch is approaching, suggesting a potential beta release or full launch within the year.

Terry Zhao, president of Garena, expressed the company's aim to bring the essence of Palworld to mobile, encouraging player interaction and shared adventures. Pocketpair CEO Takuro Mizobe highlighted Garena's extensive experience in global mobile game publishing and live operations, stating confidence in their ability to optimize the Palworld experience for mobile platforms while preserving its depth and freedom.

Garena has a history of publishing mobile titles, including Free Fire and Speed Drifters, and has also been involved with major releases like Call of Duty Mobile and Delta Force. This background suggests significant expertise in the mobile gaming market.
