Pocketpair has released patch 1.0.2 for Palworld, addressing several bugs that have impacted the game since its 1.0 launch. The update focuses on fixing problematic boss encounters, improving general stability, and making some quality-of-life adjustments.
Previously, the tower boss duo Victor & Shadowbeak would occasionally disappear permanently during multiplayer sessions after using a teleportation attack. This bug has now been resolved, ensuring the boss fight proceeds as intended. Additionally, the whale Pal, Panthalus, will no longer cause dedicated servers to crash or boot players when encountered. The developer aims to prevent these game-breaking issues from disrupting player experiences.
The patch also includes fixes for visual glitches, such as incorrect terrain display when multiple players enter the World Tree area simultaneously. Players who experienced lighting issues after the final boss was defeated by a host while they were waiting to respawn should also see those problems resolved.
Beyond the boss fixes, version 1.0.2 tackles miscellaneous bugs affecting display issues, achievements, and soft-locks that could occur during quest dialogue. A notable quality-of-life improvement is the addition of rebindable controls for the "Attack that enemy!" command, which should offer more precise control during Pal combat.
These updates demonstrate Pocketpair's commitment to quickly addressing player-reported issues and refining the Palworld experience following its successful launch. The full patch notes detail all the changes implemented in version 1.0.2.
