Palworld Update v1.0.4 Introduces New Missions, Palpedia Search, and Fishing Improvements

Palworld's v1.0.4 update has rolled out, bringing with it two new sub-missions, a highly anticipated search function for the Palpedia, and notable adjustments to the game's fishing mechanics.

Narrative Expansion and Palpedia Search

The update introduces "Beyond Dimensions," a new sub-mission accessible by interacting with an NPC at Fisherman's Point in Mount Obsidian. Following this, "From the Far Side of the Moon" becomes available upon completion of the first mission, offering further narrative progression. A significant quality-of-life addition is the new search feature for the Palpedia. With an expanding roster of Pals, players can now type a specific Pal's name to quickly locate their information, streamlining the process of managing and understanding the game's creatures.

Fishing Mechanic Overhaul

Pocketpair has also implemented several changes to Palworld's fishing system. The difficulty of fishing spots in the Sunreach and World Tree areas has been adjusted, alongside modifications to the item yield for successful catches based on bait type.
