Path of Exile 2 will conclude its main campaign and introduce a new stealth-driven Shadow class with its 1.0 launch in December. Grinding Gear Games revealed these details and more during ExileCon 2026, outlining a significant content update that will also include two additional narrative acts and a new league called Conquerors of Wraeclast.
The addition of Acts 5 and 6 will bring the campaign to a close, introducing 24 new areas and 18 new bosses. The new Shadow class is designed for stealth gameplay, allowing players to lay traps, reset stealth cooldowns through chained kills, and summon Shades to assist in combat. This class will also feature two Ascendancy classes: the Assassin and the Infiltrator. The Duelist class will receive the Knight Ascendancy, granting access to a squire companion and new abilities.
Beyond class updates, the launch will feature over 70 reworked unique items and 40 new ones. The endgame Atlas Passive Tree will be expanded with 70 additional nodes. The Conquerors of Wraeclast league will introduce a reforging crafting system, independent commanders for Atlas missions, and faction-based castle sieges.
Path of Exile 2 will exit early access and officially launch on PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox Series X, and Mac on December 11.
