PAX Australia is set to return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in October, bringing a diverse array of playable games to its Expo Floor. Attendees can expect hands-on experiences with titles such as Total War: Warhammer 40,000, Alien: Isolation 2, Persona 4 Revival, and Yakuza's noir prequel Stranger Than Heaven, all presented by Sega.
In addition to these titles, the multiplayer component of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be available to play before its October 23 launch. Square Enix will also be present, offering players a chance to try Final Fantasy 14 on the upcoming Switch 2 console. Visitors can also participate in activities like creating a bracelet and taking a themed photo. The event will feature a panel with Final Fantasy 14's localization director Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and global community producer Toshio 'Foxclon' Murouchi, who will engage in a hot sauce challenge while sharing anecdotes. A special showcase will also provide an early look at Final Fantasy 7 Revelation.
Ubisoft's Community Esports stages are scheduled to host Rainbow Six Siege competitions, an Assassin's Creed sea shanty singalong, the Ubisoft Cosplay Runway, and a Just Dance-Along. The event will run from October 9–11, with badges currently available for purchase through the official PAX Australia website. The PAX Rising indie showcase will feature over 90 independent games, and a full event schedule is accessible online.
