Footage that strongly suggests a remake of the original Persona game has surfaced online. The video, shared on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, displays what appears to be dungeon exploration, combat sequences with updated visuals, and dialogue scenes in the style of more recent Persona titles.

Fans have long expressed a desire for remakes of the earlier Persona games, with series producer Kazuhisa Wada previously stating in August that such projects are something Atlus "should definitely do."

Curiously, Tatsuya from Persona 2 is shown as one of the party members in the leaked footage. It is currently unclear if this is a special costume or if the remake might incorporate crossover elements, potentially in a style similar to the Persona Q titles.

While the authenticity of leaked footage can be cause for skepticism, the video's length and internal consistency suggest it may be genuine. Atlus has a precedent for such information being revealed early, as the Persona 3 remake was also initially confirmed through a leak.
