Atlus is bringing Persona 4 Revival and the upcoming Persona 6 to the Nintendo Switch 2, continuing the franchise's recent expansion onto Nintendo platforms. This news follows a trend established with Persona 5 Royal's 2022 debut on the Switch, which Atlus has since followed with Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden in 2023. The studio has also committed to bringing Persona 3 Reload in 2025 and Metaphor: ReFantazio in 2026 to Nintendo's hardware.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 18, 2027. However, the Switch 2 version will arrive later, on May 20, 2027. This title represents a full remake of the original 2008 PlayStation 2 RPG, featuring completely reworked visuals and incorporating quality-of-life improvements from later entries in the series. Unlike Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Revival will also integrate all narrative and gameplay enhancements introduced in Persona 4 Golden, the enhanced version already available on other platforms, including the current Switch.

In addition to the Persona 4 Revival announcement, Atlus provided a brief teaser for Persona 6 during the Nintendo Direct presentation, confirming its arrival on the Switch 2. While the release date for Persona 6 remains unspecified, it was previously announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The staggered release for Persona 4 Revival highlights a pattern for Atlus, where Nintendo versions often launch a few months after their counterparts on other consoles.
