Phantom Blade Zero, the highly anticipated action RPG from S-Game, is set to launch on October 28. Ahead of its release, the developer has shared crucial information regarding its storage needs and system requirements. Players will need a substantial amount of free disk space for the pre-load process, demanding at least 300 GB.
The game itself will occupy approximately 145 GB upon installation. The pre-load period is scheduled to begin on October 26. The developers also stressed the necessity of an SSD for playing the game and advised players to update their graphics drivers before the launch date.
Phantom Blade Zero System Requirements
The minimum system requirements for Phantom Blade Zero are as follows: an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, paired with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 6 GB or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8 GB graphics card. This configuration is expected to deliver 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second, presumably with upscaling enabled and at lower graphical settings. The game also requires 16 GB of RAM and 145 GB of storage on an SSD.
For recommended performance, players will need an Intel Core i5 10600K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, coupled with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB GPU. These specs should allow for 1440p resolution at 60 frames per second, again with upscaling technologies likely in play and without ray tracing or path tracing features enabled. The RAM and storage requirements remain the same as the minimum.
Despite the considerable storage requirement for the pre-load, the overall system specifications appear relatively modest for a game built on Unreal Engine 5. However, the sheer size of the installation may present a challenge for players with limited SSD space.
