Phantom Blade Zero has achieved a significant sales milestone, selling 4 million copies within 72 hours of its release, developer S-Game announced. The official X/Twitter account shared the news, thanking players for their support.

Even on its launch day, Phantom Blade Zero quickly rose to the top of Steam's charts, outselling major titles and becoming the platform's best-selling game by revenue. The game saw a peak of 833,921 concurrent players on Steam. This strong performance follows an earlier estimate that the game had already sold over 1 million copies before launch across Steam, PS5, and Tencent's WeGame, with a substantial portion of those pre-launch sales originating from China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

IGN's review of Phantom Blade Zero awarded it a 9/10, praising its smooth action, memorable boss fights, compelling combat, and "limitless swagger." The game's success places it as a major hit, though it has not yet reached the sales figures of titles like Black Myth: Wukong, which sold 10 million copies in its first three days.

The game features notable voice talent, with Roger Craig Smith voicing the lead character. Maggie Robertson, known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu, also contributes, and actor Donnie Yen served as a creative consultant and stars as Mó Yuan through full motion capture and voice work. Resources such as a guide to things the game doesn't tell you, a walkthrough, and specific guides for weapons, accessories, and Phantom Edges are available for players.
