PlayStation Plus Essential Adds Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider Remasters, and Monster Train 2 in November

Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for November 2026, featuring a trio of distinct titles: Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider 4-6 — Remastered, and Monster Train 2. These games will be available to subscribers starting November 3.

Dead Island 2 plunges players into a zombie-infested Los Angeles, known as "Hell-A." The game emphasizes brutal and gory melee combat, encouraging players to dismember their undead foes. It also supports three-player online co-op.

Tomb Raider 4-6 — Remastered bundles together three classic Lara Croft adventures. The Last Revelation sees Croft involved with an ancient Egyptian prophecy, Chronicles focuses on her friends reminiscing about her adventures after her presumed death, and The Angel of Darkness finds Croft on the run after being framed for murder. The collection allows players to switch between original and remastered graphics.

Monster Train 2 is a roguelike deckbuilder where players command a combined force of angels and demons. The objective is to journey through various realms and engage in card-based battles to defeat the Titans. An Endless Mode is also included for players seeking a greater challenge.

All three titles will be available for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers until November 30. Players can still claim October's free games—F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2—until November 2.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the entry-level tier of Sony's subscription service, offering online multiplayer access, monthly free games for PS4 and PS5, cloud storage, and PlayStation Store discounts. The service costs $10.99 monthly, $27.99 for three months, or $79.99 annually, following price adjustments across all PS Plus tiers in May.
