PlayStation Plus subscribers in July 2026 will gain access to a lineup of new titles for the Extra and Premium tiers, including the large-scale open-world games Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Rise of the Ronin. The subscription service's game catalog is also set to receive a selection of PS2 classics, specifically Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, a PS5 exclusive, will be available on July 21. This title offers players an open-world experience set within the universe of James Cameron's Avatar franchise, featuring exploration of Pandora's environments and gameplay described as similar to Far Cry titles but without some of their more criticized elements.

Rise of the Ronin, also a PS5 game, joins the service on July 15. This game presents a different kind of open-world adventure, focusing on historical Japan and combat.

For players with PlayStation Plus Premium or Extra subscriptions, the PS2 titles Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy will be added on July 21 for PS5 and PS4. These games are noted for their unique supernatural mechanics and concise, narrative-driven experiences that are less common in modern console gaming.

Other notable additions to the PS Plus Extra tier include Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (PS5, July 21), Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind (PS5, PS4, July 28), Dying Light (PS4, July 28), Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector (PS5, July 28), and Snow Bros. Wonderland (PS5, July 28).

Access to these games requires an active PS Plus Extra or Premium subscription. Essential tier subscribers do not have access to the game catalog. Games downloaded from the catalog will become unplayable if the subscription lapses, requiring re-subscription for continued access.
