Sony is significantly expanding the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for August, adding a host of popular and critically acclaimed titles to its Extra and Premium tiers. The update begins with the inclusion of the cooperative shooter Helldivers 2, available to PS5 players starting August 12.
PlayStation officially revealed the new additions on August 12, with games rolling out at different points in the month. Beyond Helldivers 2, the August lineup features several other notable games. Metro Exodus, the survival horror title, and the increasingly popular Vampire Survivors are joining the catalog, alongside Two Point Campus, a management simulation game. Additionally, players can look forward to Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Hell Is Us, titles that have garnered interest among gamers.
This influx of significant titles has been described as one of the strongest months for the PS Plus Game Catalog in recent times. While typically only one or two games might stand out, this August's selections offer a broader appeal, with nearly every addition being a game many players will be happy to access.
