Sony has officially revealed the lineup of games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers for October 2026. This month's offerings include F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
F1 25, the latest entry in Codemasters' Formula 1 racing series, launched last year and received positive reviews. IGN awarded it an 8/10, noting that it was a "far broader and better package than last year’s installment, and it’s comfortably the strongest the series has been since the fan favourite F1 2020."
Joining the racing simulator is Hunt: Showdown 1896, Crytek's first-person extraction shooter. Originally released in early access in 2018, this version for PlayStation 5 features a battle royale mode alongside its monster-hunting gameplay. The game was previously reviewed by IGN with a 7.5/10. Players new to the series will be able to pick up the story easily.
Rounding out the October PlayStation Plus lineup is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, available for both PS4 and PS5. This third-person shooter offers local and online co-op, continuing the story of the voxel-based Earth after the events of the first game. Players will reunite with "Brothers from across the world" to combat a new enemy threatening to destroy the planet.
