The Pokémon Company International has partnered with the European Space Agency (ESA) to launch a new line of merchandise celebrating World Space Week. This collaboration aims to inspire future explorers by featuring beloved Pokémon in space-themed designs.
The exclusive collection is now available for purchase and includes a variety of items with a cosmic twist. At the forefront is Pikachu, the franchise's mascot, depicted in astronaut attire. Two distinct Pikachu plushies are available: one in white and another in dark blue, representing male and female variants, respectively.
Beyond plush toys, the collection features pins and patches showcasing Pikachu alongside other space-appropriate Pokémon such as Lunatone, Minior, and Cosmog. For those looking to wear their fandom, the line includes an ESA dark-blue bomber jacket and a light-blue T-shirt adorned with a design of Pikachu among the stars.
Two items are slated for a later release: a decorative astronaut Pikachu figure and a 1,000-piece space Pikachu puzzle set. The Pokémon Company and ESA have not yet announced specific release dates for these products, urging fans to monitor the Pokémon Center shop for updates.
The full collection can be viewed on the Pokémon Center website. This collaboration marks a unique opportunity for fans to combine their love for Pokémon with an appreciation for space exploration.
