The Candela's Quest for Victory event is currently underway in Pokémon Go, offering players a variety of new research tasks and increased Pokémon spawns. This event runs concurrently with the in-person Go Fest 2026 in Copenhagen, but is accessible to all players worldwide.

The event concludes on Monday, June 15th, at 8 PM local time. During this period, players can engage with unique field research tasks that offer encounters with specific Pokémon, including Charmander, Machop, Fletchling, Flareon, Rockruff, and Honedge. More challenging tasks, such as winning raids or powering up Pokémon, yield encounters with Pokémon like Hisuian Growlithe, Slugma, Scraggy, and Scyther.

In addition to research tasks, Candela's Quest for Victory also brings specific Pokémon to wild spawns. Players can expect to find Charmander, Mankey, Hisuian Growlithe, Machop, Ponyta, Scyther, Flareon, Slugma, and Fletchling more frequently.

Raids are also a focal point of the event, featuring a rotating selection of Pokémon. One-Star raids include Hisuian Growlithe and Scraggy. Three-Star raids offer encounters with Machamp, Scizor, and Honedge. Five-Star raids will feature Reshiram until June 10th, after which it will be replaced by Zekrom. Mega Evolutions are also available, with Mega Audino and Mega Lopunny appearing in Mega Raids during specific periods.

A special Go Pass is available for purchase from June 9th until the event's end on June 15th. The Free Track of the Go Pass includes access to Major Milestones and encounters with Flareon, Rockruff, and a Candela-themed Ponyta with a Team Valor background. The Deluxe Track, priced at £4.99 / $4.99, offers additional rewards, including an extra Major Milestone and six Premium Battle Passes. An even more expensive version of the Deluxe Track includes six Ranks pre-completed for £6.99 / $6.99.

Rewards from the Go Pass must be claimed before June 17th at 7:59 PM local time. The event also offers bonuses for participating in raids, such as an increased attack bonus when battling with friends and additional Stardust or Raid Passes depending on the track chosen.
