Pokémon Go Fest 2026: Global is set to celebrate the game's tenth anniversary with a revamped Habitat Hour system and an extensive raid schedule. The event, running across Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th, will feature six Habitat Hours in total, with three occurring each day. Unlike previous years, these Habitat Hours will focus on specific Pokémon types rather than individual species, offering players a chance to progress their Catch Medals for those types.
On Saturday, July 11th, the Habitat Hours will be Stormfire Peaks from 10 AM to 1 PM local time, featuring Earth-type Pokémon. This will be followed by Astral Tides from 1 PM to 4 PM, focusing on Water and Ice types, and concluding with Dragonflight Summit from 4 PM to 7 PM, highlighting Dragon and Fairy types.
Sunday, July 12th, will mirror the same time slots with different featured types. The event begins with Earthforged Domain (10 AM to 1 PM), showcasing Ground and Rock types, then moves to Verdant Anomaly (1 PM to 4 PM) for Grass and Bug types, and finally Twilight Battlefield (4 PM to 7 PM) for Dark and Psychic types. All times are listed in local time.
The raid schedule for Go Fest 2026: Global will see Mega Mewtwo X appearing in raids on Saturday, with Mega Mewtwo Y taking its place on Sunday. Beyond these prominent Mega Evolutions, nearly all five-star raid bosses, including legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts, are making a return. These have been distributed across both days of the event.
During Go Fest 2026: Global, players using Incense will have the opportunity to encounter specific Pokémon. These include any form of Unown, Tropius, and Bouffalant. It is important to note that the Daily Adventure Incense is excluded from these event-specific encounters. Tropius and Bouffalant are regionally exclusive Pokémon, making them particularly valuable catches for players who may not typically encounter them.
This event follows the ongoing Road to Legends preparation and is part of the Forever Forward season in Pokémon Go, encouraging players to engage with various game features such as the Go Battle League, Remote Trading, PokéStop Showcases, Routes, and Max Battles alongside the special event activities.
