Pokémon Go's "Pokémon Go Fest 2026: Mega Finale" event is scheduled for Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6, running from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time each day. This event marks the return of Armored Mewtwo, which has not been available since 2020.

The finale event offers opportunities to catch Pokémon eligible for Mega Evolution and gather Mewtwo Mega Energy. Like previous events, type-based habitats will rotate hourly, influencing wild spawns and raid bosses. Armored Mewtwo is slated to appear in five-star raids throughout both days of the event.

Event Bonuses

Several bonuses are tied to the Go Pass, introduced during the "Mega Ascension" event. These include increased Poké Ball storage to 2,000 for Rank 1, an enhanced chance of encountering shiny partner Pokémon and their evolutions for Rank 1 (deluxe), and an increased chance of shiny Pokémon from four-star Mega Raids for Rank 2 (deluxe). Rank 3 (deluxe) offers three additional Candy, one Candy XL, and 5,000 XP from Mega Raids. The highest tier, Rank 70 (deluxe), provides an increased chance of encountering featured shiny Pokémon in the wild during the event weekend.

Additionally, two free bonuses are available to all players: an unlimited remote raiding period throughout the weekend and a CP boost for all Mega Evolved Pokémon. The Go Pass benefits are unlocked by completing a Timed Research that requires choosing between Mega Chesnaught, Mega Delphox, or Mega Greninja.
