Niantic is providing Pokémon Go players with free Link Charges through redeemable codes as part of Pokémon Go Fest: Global 2026. These items are essential for participating in Super Mega Raids, particularly for those attempting to tackle Mega Mewtwo.
The codes are being distributed as rewards for players who RSVP and check in to local meet-up events. While attendance at these gatherings is encouraged for Super Mega Raid requirements, players can claim the codes without personally participating in a local event. Information on these meet-ups can be found via the Campfire app.
Players are advised to redeem these Link Charge codes promptly, as they are time-limited and will expire. The article will be updated as additional codes become available.
Beyond these event-specific codes, Link Charges can be acquired through several in-game methods. These include earning them from both the free and deluxe versions of the "Road to Legends" Go Pass, completing weekly challenges, receiving gifts from friends, and purchasing them directly from the in-game shop.
Link Charges serve as an alternative to Premium Raid Passes for Super Mega Raids, costing 200 charges per raid. They are also a requirement for performing Super Mega Raids remotely, in conjunction with a Remote Raid Pass.
