Following its acclaimed launch and initial DLC wave, Pokémon Pokopia is set to receive further paid content later this year, focusing on character customization. The upcoming update will introduce a variety of new accessories for both town residents and Pokémon.

New footage revealed during a recent Nintendo Direct showcased several new equippable fashion items. These include sunglasses, a Sylveon-themed ribbon for the head, and a bow tie. A ruffled jabot tie was also featured, and the ability to equip items on both the head and neck suggests that players will be able to mix and match accessories. Promotional art has also hinted at additional cosmetic options, such as angel wings, a flower for Ditto's hair, and a maid's bonnet.

In addition to the cosmetic additions, the DLC will also bring a few new Pokémon into the game, with Doduo, Braixen, and Skitty confirmed. While the content focuses heavily on accessories, the addition of these new Pokémon offers some gameplay variety. This marks the second wave of DLC for Pokémon Pokopia, with the first wave having introduced the Bubbly Basin biome.
