Pokémon Pokopia's upcoming DLC will introduce new Pokémon and a host of cosmetic items, according to a recent Nintendo Direct presentation. The second part of the game's Expansion Pass, set for release in late 2026, will feature additions like the Normal-types Doduo and Skitty, alongside the Fire-type Braixen. More unrevealed creatures are also expected.

The update will also bring a variety of new accessories for player avatars, including sunglasses, bows, ribbons, and ties. Promotional images suggest other items, such as detachable wings, may also be included, allowing players to customize their characters with a stylish flair.

This second wave of DLC will not, however, add a new town or explorable area. That feature is reserved for the third and final part of the Expansion Pass, which is slated for a 2027 release. The Expansion Pass, priced at $34.99, currently grants access to the Bubbly Basin DLC, which added an underwater area and focused on aquatic Pokémon. It also includes a new recipe for Ditto block prints and 30 rare Pokémetal ingots.

Pokémon Pokopia is currently available on Nintendo Switch 2. The base game was noted for its charm and setting in reviews, though some found its gameplay loop to be repetitive.
