The second installment of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, titled "Dazzling Decorations," will launch on December 9, 2026. The DLC introduces new accessories and cosmetic items for Ditto and other Pokémon, along with additional creatures to befriend. Players can look forward to items like bows and sunglasses, with one accessory allowing a turtle Pokémon to emulate its Squirtle Squad past. New Pokémon confirmed for "Dazzling Decorations" include Doduo, Braixen, and Skitty, with more unrevealed.
To access the "Dazzling Decorations" content, players must first complete specific in-game quests, such as "Raise the environment level!," "Rebuild the Pokémon Center!," and Drifloon's "Find a doll!" request.
The first part of the Expansion Pass, "Bubbly Basin," was released on August 5, 2026, and added a new underwater region with 52 water-themed Pokémon. The third and final part of the DLC is slated for a 2027 release and is expected to introduce another new town.
Owners of the Expansion Pass also receive bonus in-game items, including a recipe for dynamic print blocks, wallpapers, and 30 rare Pokémetal ingots. The Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass is priced at $34.99.
Pokémon Pokopia, a life simulator for the Nintendo Switch 2, was released in March and has received widespread acclaim. It holds an 89 score on Metacritic and has sold over 5 million copies as of August, establishing itself as one of the year's highest-rated titles.
