The Pokémon Company has announced the upcoming release of Deluxe Pack: Mega, a new expansion for the mobile digital card game, Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. The set is scheduled to launch on September 29 at 9 p.m. EDT and will feature a guaranteed rare ex card in every pack opened. This addition aims to provide players with a valuable incentive to collect the latest offerings and bolster their collections.
Deluxe Pack: Mega will reintroduce several cards previously featured in past expansions, including those from July's Ruler of the Skies set. Notably, all four-diamond cards from these previous expansions will be reissued. The set will also showcase new artwork for many of its cards, alongside numerous foil variants for collectors to pursue. Among the new visual elements are alternative backdrop art for Mega Charizard X.
The game is also set to receive various in-game changes towards the end of October, though specific details are expected to be shared closer to the update's release.
