Daniel Mullins, the creative mind behind critically acclaimed titles such as Inscryption and the original Pony Island, has set an official release date for their upcoming game, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus. The peculiar and highly anticipated title is slated to arrive on April 27, 2027.
Pony Island 2: Panda Circus promises a unique experience that plays with player expectations, a hallmark of Mullins' previous work. The game is described by its developer as "A voyage through time, myth, divinity, and video games." Early indications suggest gameplay may involve navigating a series of distinct arcade cabinets, each featuring its own mechanics and visual style.
The game will also feature full-motion video (FMV) performances from a cast including Sungwon Cho, Arian Moayed, Caitlin Reilly, and Kevin Saxby, further hinting at the unconventional narrative and presentation players can expect.
