PUBG Mobile has rolled out its Version 4.6 update, bringing a festive pumpkin theme to its Brainrot Royale mode. The update, available now, includes new event gameplay, limited-time rewards, social interaction improvements, and collection progression enhancements.
Ghost Ship Event
The centerpiece of the update is the new timed event, Ghost Ship, which alternates with the Boss Room. During this event, a large ship emerges from the mist and targets Brainrots on the conveyor belt with tracking Ghost Bullets. Hits cause Brainrots to mutate into special, limited-time Pumpkin Brainrots. These can also be collected by smashing Pumpkin Eggs found in the Boss Room. Players can choose to take these back to their base or steal them from others.
The Ghost Ship event also provides access to the Pirate Captain's Shop via special updrafts that allow players to reach the ship's deck. To acquire the limited items and rewards available, players will need to collect Pirate Coins. This new event currency is earned by stealing other players' Brainrots, smashing eggs in the Boss Room, or purchasing and shooting Brainrots. Rarer and higher-level Brainrots and eggs yield more Pirate Coins.
Become a Brainrot and Star Upgrades
In line with the update's theme, players can now disguise themselves as pumpkin-themed Brainrots using the Brainrot Wand, purchasable with Pirate Coins. Additionally, the Magic Broom allows players to fly freely around the map and bring a companion, featuring a dash attack effective against thieves attempting to steal Brainrots.

"The pumpkin-themed update brings new twists like the Ghost Ship and creates even more unexpected moments between players."
The Star Upgrade system has also been introduced, enabling players to enhance their collected Brainrots. By fusing two Brainrots of the same type and star level, players can increase their Brainrot's size, Coin production rate, and collectible value. A success-rate bonus is awarded for subsequent attempts if a fusion fails, encouraging players to continue upgrading their collection up to the Meteor tier.
New Interactions and Quality-of-Life Improvements
Version 4.6 enhances player interaction within the game. Players can now view each other's profile cards upon approach, add friends, exchange gifts, and directly transfer Brainrots. Gifts can be sent to a player's backpack or base, facilitating easier collection sharing.

Quality-of-life improvements include an increased backpack capacity, now holding up to 64 Brainrots. Once full, players must organize or sell items to pick up more. The Rebirth level cap has also been raised by five levels, with each new level unlocking an additional base slot for Brainrots and facilities.
The pumpkin-themed Brainrot Royale update is now live in PUBG MOBILE's World of Wonder mode as part of Version 4.6. The game is available for free on the App Store and Google Play Store.
