Ratata Announced as a Chaotic 4-Player Co-op Physics Game

The Kingsdom has announced Ratata, a forthcoming physics-based co-op game for PC. The game supports solo play or up to four players, casting them as a crew of animals indebted to a mafia toad. Players must complete various missions, which involve tasks such as building a garage, acquiring items, packing trucks, and delivering goods, all within a stylized '80s crime heist aesthetic.

Each animal character possesses unique strengths, weaknesses, and abilities that influence their suitability for different jobs. The developers highlighted that "every animal has its own size, strength, speed, abilities and driver's license status." Gameplay challenges will include navigating past guards, avoiding traps, and evading "crazy granny squirrels."

Ratata does not yet have a release date. Interested players can wishlist the game on Steam.
