Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Oh BiBi have announced that pre-registration is now open for Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, a new mobile entry in the long-running PlayStation franchise. The game, which first appeared in November 2025, has undergone regional soft launches and testing phases in territories including Canada, the Nordics, France, and Asia.

Following a successful testing period that incorporated player feedback, the team is preparing for a worldwide release. Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is a third-person multiplayer hero shooter developed by Oh BiBi, a studio known for titles such as Frag Pro Shooter. The game will feature 12 playable heroes at launch, including new Lombax characters, and six distinct game modes. These modes encompass player-versus-player (PvP) and player-versus-environment (PvE) engagements, a battle royale, and a soccer-themed "showdown."

Developers acknowledge the potential for skepticism among fans of the series, with Oh BiBi CEO Stanislas Dewavrin stating the team's ambition to "create a game that feels like it truly belongs in the series." The mobile game is exclusive to iOS and Android platforms.

Pre-registering for Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble allows players to collectively work towards unlocking in-game rewards. The ultimate reward for community pre-registration efforts is a Clank Suit cosmetic for Widget, one of the game's playable heroes. The player jumping into a fight in Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble.
