Riot Games is launching a unique Valorant-themed pub event in London from June 19th to 21st. The event will see The Phoenix Arms in Hackney Bridge temporarily transformed into a "quintessential British matchday pub" experience, complete with Valorant branding.
Adding to the event's distinctive flavor, the pub will be hosted by Big John, a British personality known for his food-eating videos and signature "bosh!" catchphrase. While it remains unconfirmed whether Big John will be serving or consuming food at the event, his presence is a central part of Riot's attempt to capture the atmosphere of a British sports pub.
The pub takeover coincides with the ongoing Valorant Masters tournament, which is being held in London at the Copper Box Arena until June 21st. Attendees will have the opportunity to watch the Masters event for free at the pub, though pints will not be complimentary. The venue for Valorant Masters, the Copper Box Arena, was originally constructed for the 2012 British Olympics and has previously hosted Riot Games' League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational.
The Valorant Masters event itself is set to include a reveal for a new map within the game. This follows the recent introduction of Miks, a Croatian controller agent with sonic abilities, to Valorant earlier this year.
