Rockstar Games has unveiled new details regarding the radio stations and music that will feature in the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The studio announced via its official website that the game will include the biggest and widest-ranging selection of in-game radio ever seen in the franchise.
Players will be able to tune into a variety of genres across several radio stations, with Rockstar providing previews of six distinct stations. These include Flash FM for pop hits, Back Country Radio for classic country and outlaw tracks, Cocoteo FM for modern Latin music, The Chamber 106.6 for hard rock and speed metal, Afro Bank FM for Amapiano and African hits, and Dirty South Classics for regional rap and hip hop. These stations offer a glimpse into the diverse audio landscape awaiting players upon the game's November launch.
In a first for the series, Grand Theft Auto VI will allow players to listen to radio stations and on-demand podcasts while on foot, accessed through characters' mobile phones. This feature extends to listening while driving as well. Rockstar has also indicated that more information about the in-game music and a potential GTA 6 album will be released soon.
